Patricia Corby, DDS, MS

Dr. Patricia Corby is the Associate Director of the NYU Bluestone Center for Clinical Research and an Assistant Professor of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at the NYU College of Dentistry.

At Bluestone Center, Dr. Corby manages and directs a comprehensive clinical research operation. She is also the administrative liaison for research contract and budget development and negotiation. Dr. Corby has focused her direction on establishing best practices for clinical trials operations including administration, performance standards, quality, resource and budget planning, training and development. She is the administrative liaison for investigators, sponsors and the NYU Clinical Trials Office operations.

Dr. Corby holds a DDS degree from Fundacao Tricordiana de Educacao in Minas Gerais, Brazil, and a MS degree in biomedical informatics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and a Post-Doctoral in molecular biology/microbial genetics from the Forsyth Institute/Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She also completed specialty training in periodontics and in implants at Universidade Instituto de Ciencias da Saude de Universidade Paulista in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She previously served as an Assistant Professor of dental public health at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and as a Research Associate in Oral and Developmental Biology at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicine.
