What is a Clinical Trial?
A clinical trial is a research study involving human subjects that is designed to answer specific healthcare related questions in a scientific manner. Clinical trials are designed to evaluate safety and efficacy of promising approaches to prevention, diagnosis and treatment for health related concerns. Advances in health care and medicine would not be possible without the volunteers who choose to participate in clinical trials as a study subject.
