Dr. Patricia Corby, DDS, MS
Assistant Director
As the Bluestone Center for Oral Health Research Assistant Director, Dr. Corby leads the Bluestone Trials Executive Team. Dr. Corby oversees development, research training, and updating of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Bluestone Center. She oversees the use of technology and information management to promote patient care and research at the Bluestone Center. Dr. Corby analyzes clinical research informatics needs; develops design options to support clinical research, and implements and evaluates responsive clinical information technology solutions to support research projects at the Bluestone Center.
She is an Assistant Professor at the NYU with over 10 years of experience in designing, conducting and monitoring of clinical trials and biomedical research. She has a specialty in Periodontics and Implants, and received post-doctoral training in Molecular Biology from Harvard University/ Forsyth Institute with a focus in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. She also has a Masters in Biomedical Informatics with focus in Research Applications to Clinical Medicine. Dr. Corby is a Member of the American Society for Microbiology and the American Medical Informatics Association.
